Event Overview

The Tech Quiz Competition is designed to assess participants' technical knowledge, quick thinking, and ability to perform under pressure. It is open to all students and conducted branch-wise, with participants representing their departments.

Quiz Rounds

Date & Time: April 21, 2025, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Venue: Seminar Hall 2

Quiz Format

Round 1: General Tech GK

Questions: 5 per participant
Time Limit: 30 seconds per question
Scoring: +10 for correct answers, no negative marking

Round 2: Visual Round

Questions: 5 per participant
Time Limit: 30 seconds per question
Scoring: +10 for correct answers, -5 for wrong answers (optional)

Round 3: Rapid Fire

Questions: 5 per participant
Time Limit: 30 seconds per question
Scoring: +5 for correct answers, no negative marking

Tiebreaker/Bonus Round

In case of ties, additional questions will be asked with scores of +5 or +10 for correct answers.

Rules and Regulations

Participant Criteria

Individual participation only (no teams).
Open to students from all years and streams.
Registration must be coordinated by respective HODs, with names submitted prior to the competition.

Conduct Guidelines

Mobile phones and smart devices are strictly prohibited during the quiz.
Any form of cheating results in immediate disqualification.
Judges' and coordinators' decisions are final and binding.

Branch-wise Participation

The competition will be conducted branch-wise, with participants representing their departments.

Prizes

🏆 Top 3 participants will receive certificates and prizes.
